Myriad Artistic Fellowship & Education Program

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

​The Myriad Artistic Fellowship and Education program is designed to support emerging artists, singers, composers, and conductors looking to expand their choral toolbox and gain valuable career experience while participating in Myriad at NO COST.

​

This includes composers and conductors early in their career looking for professional mentorship opportunities and young singers in highschool or early post-secondary school looking to pursue music at a higher level.

​

The deadline to apply for this program for the 25-26 season is August 31, 2025.

OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:

Associate Conductor Stream

  • One year program (September-May),

  • Hone your conducting skills with one on one mentorship from Myriad's conductor and Artistic Director Elise Naccarato,

  • Lead sectionals for Myriad singers and provide feedback,

  • Get time on the podium during a Myriad rehearsal or performance,

  • $2,000.00 honorarium

  • and more!

Emerging Composer Stream

  • One term program (September-December or January-May),

  • Score workshop or reading session with Myriad Ensemble,

  • One on one mentorship from Myriad's Composer-in-Residence Katerina Gimon,

  • $500.00 honorarium,

  • and more!

 

Singer Stream

  • One term program (September-December or January-May),

  • Singing with Myriad for at no cost (must be able to sing in the soprano-alto range)

  • Mentorship from our artistic staff to build their choral toolbox,

  • Building musical literacy skills to improve sight singing, ear training, and theory,

  • Private vocal instruction from a member of our artistic team;

  • and more!

All participants will have the opportunity to cultivate connections in a supportive and inclusive environment. Myriad welcomes applicants of all gender expressions and voice types for the Emerging Composer stream.

HOW TO APPLY

Please fill out the form above and attach any supplementary materials you might have like a vocal reel, score sample, conducting reel, or anything else you may think is applicable. Applications are reviewed before each term. When your application has been received, we will contact you regarding next steps.
