To inspire and lead in choral art by amplifying women’s voices through community, vocal excellence, and innovative programming

Vocal Excellence

Artistic Innovation

With a vision to inspire through the art of choral music, Myriad is committed to raising the voices of women* through the collaboration, exploration, and performance of women’s choral repertoire. Under the direction of Elise Naccarato, Myriad has grown from its humble beginnings as a casual 'summer choir' to a creative, passionate, lively community women’s choir, home to sopranos and altos from a diverse array of backgrounds (musical and otherwise).

Myriad specializes in the performance of contemporary choral music and regularly commissions new choral works by female composers. Myriad is quickly establishing itself as a Canadian choir that performs with vocal excellence, passion, and artistic innovation.

*Myriad Ensemble welcomes all singers who sing within a soprano-alto range.

Working with Myriad was an enjoyable discovery…clearly an adventuresome ensemble of dedicated young women whose fine voices meld with technical awareness, sensitive flexibility, musical energy, and performance panache all under the creative direction of Elise Naccarato. They are indeed Myriad mirabilis!
